New Orleans and the Midwest
Our time in New Orleans consisted of new learning, adventure, and immersion into an authentic culture. The Team executed several historic home restorations and transformations. Full floor plan revivals, the unveiling of hidden pocket doors, sourcing and overseeing plaster of Paris craftsmanship by seventh-generation Italian artisans, and custom-created gallery columns are some elements incorporated into our structural revivals. Two of note were a Freret Folly and the current Parks Bowman mansion; one was pending demolition. Upon completion, these homes were published in books, online websites and articles, in calendars, and in newspaper feature stories. Today, they are in the hands of caring families who continue the preservation efforts!

Our Midwest adventures involved urban and rural properties with different infrastructure considerations.
A rural real estate purchase by The Berle Group intertwined personal emotion into business as it was the home of an American Rock and Roll legend we love! We also worked with the county forestry commission and created long-term acreage management to sustain the native tree species.
A historic, urban home situated on one of the nation's "Greatest Streets" according to the National Register of Historic Places, is now lovingly being renovated by a family as a primary residence. The Berle Group passed this torch with the intention of future preservation and respect for its previous and current owners.
